This picture is landscaped, which makes for better coverage of the focal point. The picture makes use of the environmental colors, keeping it feeling fresh and cool. The polar bear is walking on a path which makes a parallel line to the horizon and the line above that one as well. The polar bear gives off a feeling of lonliness, but the path set before him has already been laid out for him, so we know he is not alone. I feel the color of the sun adds to the feeling of the picture, which may convey peace.

This portrait depicts a dog and its owner all in shades of blue. This actually does follow the rule of thirds in photography, and the focus of the protrait is clear. The owner's hand holding the dog makes me feel like it should not be there, it adds noise to the portrait. We know shes the owner, but her hand see pushes the idea too much. Not only that, her head perpendicular to the dogs is upsetting, it seems too chaotic and the focal point then seems off center.

I think this portrait is excellent. it is composed of shades of blue. The blues give it a contemporary, classy feeling. i love how the bridge in the background and the concrete in the railing in the focal point follow the rule of thirds naturally.

The black and white color in this picture give it a surreal feeling, the little dead branch is annoying though, consider it noise. This picture follows the rule of thirds, with the large tree as the focal point and the smaller tree in the background. There seems to be a contrast of the younger and older tree, with the older tree being the model for the younger tree, as if that is what the younger tree should hope to grow up to be.

I love Pennywise, he is so scary and i cant even watch some parts of the movie, but i did a still image of this piece from you tube and its still really cool. This part is so scary because he is digging graves for them. I like the trees in the back because it makes you feel like you are trapped and have no where to run, except into the graves. The tombstones in the back are also awesomely scary because it adds to the fear factor.

Ok so here, they spray some asthma medicine in his face and it starts peeling and getting all gooey. I love the makeup and his half sprayed, half clown make up face, because its like half scary, half scarier. His hair is so crazy, the red adds to the scariness because its the color of the blood that he leaves everywhere. Finally those teeth are crazy, you have to admit that those teeth are some of the scariest, besides shark teeth, thats what they remind me of. Anything thats not covered by make up is so revealing of his monsterness, its creepy!

This picture is likable because Johnny Depp is so sexy, and the bloody eyes are hilarious. this has to be the cheapest shot ever, but he still looks so good. If i had blood running down my face, people would either be running or throwing up, not posting it and saying how sexy i look, so he does a good job of looking sexy even though he looks funny. I love his hair and how the background is blurred out, because it just focuses on him.

This little girl is also suffering from hydrocephalus and her father is the only one strong enough to carry her when she eats. She looks so beautiful to me because i see how she looks like her father, so having them two sit together is very beautiful, especially since he is the one basically keeping her alive by feeding her. Too beautiful, i cant stop looking at this picture.

Now for some serious stuff. These next few pictures focus on the Chernobyl tragedy. This one in particular is of two twins born. One of them is deaf and the other is suffering from hydrocephalus. So basically their mothers had high levels of radiation from the bombs and they were affected by the mutated genes, so they can still pass this onto their children. I do not love this picture, but i am amazed at its brutal honesty, so i admire it and the strength of these people. I like the colors to present this as somber as possible, not drawing attention to anything but what you see.

This picture is so unreal to me. This boy is jumping into the contaminated river Techa. This is one of the main causes of cancer, birth defects, and health problems for these people, but can you imagine having a river near where you live and you cant play in it as a child? not only that ,no one ever told them not to play in it or drink from it, so they still do, because the officials never let them in on the effects of the radiation in their area. This picture is sad, but eye opening, look at how so much innocence is displayed through the boy and even the river itself. Just amazing

This man is 33 and his doctors dont hknow what is wrong with him because he has a disease that makes him shrink. When i saw this, i couldnt help but imagine what it would feel like to have a disease that no one could help me with and that was causing so much pain and suffering with no answers. What kind of fear would i have? With no one in my position and no answers, how could i continue having faith and hope? The picture is good because of the wall in the background and the light casting over his bed. it is a lonely picture, just like he must feel.

im not sure if this was an unborn fetus or an actual baby that was still born or what, but this shows how the babies look. Its hands and feet are all crinkled up, and it looks so beautiful with its head tilted up. It looks so healthy, but its life ended short because of humankinds mistakes. This one little baby says so much, because the people that were responsible for all of this will never know how much hurt they have caused. Can you imagine how much pain this babys mother must have felt after creating a baby, feeling it move everyday, her stomach growing, her anticipation, her changes, only to have it all taken away from her? Her baby is beautiful.

This little baby is also suffering from hydrocephalus. This baby was abandoned and died two days later. The people from this area have no idea what is going on most of the time and only recently found out this is all from something that happened twenty two years ago. They do not have the money to care for the sick. This baby is also a reminder of all of the sufferign taking place. I love the light shining on the babys face, the baby looks so peaceful and beautiful.

This boy gets made fun of at school. I like the picture because he looks very handsome, but the flower he is holding really makes the picture look so sober, but i guess it must be that way because his life is not all rosy and happy. The little shack intensifies the struggles he goes through everyday, but he and the shack are still standing strong.

This little girl has not grown since she was three and her parents are thinking of putting her in an orphanage. Like i have stated, these families are poor and this is just the harsh reality they must live. I like the picture because she looks proud of herself, which makes me proud of her too. This girl got her henna in india and i think henna is so cool. I think this picture is one of the best!You can see so much detail of her real eye, its electrifying. I love glitter and i love eyes, so a great pic of a glittery eye is something worth posting. the blue mascara makes it ten times more inviting to look at. I love funky colors and this picture makes me feel crazy in a good way.

This picture is so great, forget about the background, the picture quality of the tattoo is amazing. You can see details and everything, this makes me want the same tattoo. I love trees. The guys tattoo was actually designed by him, of course he did not do the tattoo or take the picture, but he is talented and his tattoo is so amazing. I would like to meet him, it would be dissappointing if his face was not as unique, though.

This picture is sooo ugly, you cant even see jack and meg white! Thats the whole point of the picture, isnt it? I have this poster, and it is excellent, but this picture is so horrible. The color is uneven and makes the picture look like its blurry. Jack and Meg look like albinos, no offense to them, but they have absolutely no color they look dead! Whoever messed with the color did a horrible job. Whats even worse is that you cannot see Jack White's beautiful face. This is my favorite band and its sad to see them in this state!

I love Freddy Krueger and i enjoy this picture regardless of the poor quality because you can easily recognize who he is and i love looking at him, i think hes handsome!! This picture looks old so that may be why the quality is so poor, but its not as poor as the White Stripes picture, that one is the worst of them all. Anyway, you can pretty much see his face clearly enough to enjoy it.

I dislike this picture because i am obsessed with fairies. I have always felt that fairies are associated with fantasy and this picture is so far from it, its dissappointing. Sure the colors are catchy, blah blah, the actual fairy is so fake looking it makes me sad. The whole essence of a fairy, to me, is her face and wings, and this picture does little justice to her face. Her wings are pathetic excuses for wings and the color chosen for the fairy is a dissappointment as well. The reason for this is since her hair is blonde, i would expect her to wear white and have a softer background, as far as fairy essence goes, but this nature-associated background should mean the fairy is dark-haired and should be dressed in earth tones to match. In my opinion a fairy should always fit her surroundings, but stand out as well.

I really love this picture because of the essence. The picture captures the lonliness, yet magnificance of trees. To me, trees represent everything strong in the world. To be able to see a tree standing alone in the face of a storm is truly amazng to me. I like the lighting because this captures the tree as the only thing in the light while everything else is dark.

I extremely dislike this picture for a number of reasons. How can someone try to glamorize something that kills people everyday? I asked others how they felt about this picture and i got descriptions like "shes so beautiful" and so forth, seeing how people look more at the woman than what she is doing. Ive smoked before, so Im sort of hypocritical, but i never tried to glamorize it and post it up for everyone to see. A child might see this and think that smoking looks cool and that they might even look like this girl. I hate how the sunlight captures the smoke and the girl's skin. I hate her defiant chin and the rebellious look this picture seems to portray.
